Being a woman who wants more
I have always been someone who wants more. Who is always seeking new ways to grow and expand both on a personal and business level but who at the same time has felt overwhelmed, guilty of having these desires, and pulled in a million different directions whilst trying to keep everyone happy, except myself.
My journey as an entrepreneur has taught me valuable insights that I see mirrored in the experiences of the incredible clients I work with.
Multi-passionate women who run multiple businesses, who have families, who are involved in different projects or are full of ideas for different projects that they want to bring to life. We want to grow super-successful businesses and positively impact the world and help others, we want to be able to support our families, we want time and space for ourselves…
Let’s face it we want it all (whatever that version of having it all looks like) and we want to achieve this in a way that aligns with our chosen lifestyle, business and most importantly our energy!
And is it that dance between taking the necessary action steps to get us to the place that we desire whilst still being true to ourselves that can be so difficult.
We don’t subscribe to hustle culture but we know that getting to our next level will take work.
We want to listen and learn from the experts but we don’t want cookie-cutter businesses or businesses that are built on ways of working that don’t truly align with who we are.
We want to stop chasing our tail for the next big thing and grow in a scalable, sustainable and effective way!
The biggest lessons I have learned in my business have been these:
Self-awareness is the key to progress. You cannot get somewhere new without understanding who you are, how you best work, what limitations you’re showing up with each day and how you can work through these (or around them) in order to see the results that you want.
We all need support. No matter how capable we may feel, seeking guidance and collaboration is vital for growth.
That we can have a degree of success winging it when we first start but to really truly scale we need a strong foundation of the business basics (clear messaging, strong systems and offers that support our audience and get them results)
Learning to drop the guilt around wanting more and fully embrace our desires. Wanting more is not selfish; it's a catalyst for growth and fulfillment.
We have to change the way we see ourselves, our businesses and what we deserve in this life so that we can contribute in more powerful ways.
